Rotary Club of Kampala East

The Kampala East Endowment Fund (KEEF) Limited is an investment company, limited by shares that was incorporated on August 10 2020. The company started with 38 members and has since grown to a membership of 43 over the three (03) years. Our current investment base is 1,000 ordinary shares available for up to 50 members. KEEF was established to provide individuals of the Rotary Club of Kampala East (RCKE) with a collaborative platform or avenue to pool resources, share knowledge and collectively invest in a diversified portfolio for long term growth, which ordinarily might be challenging  to manage individually.

Company Leadership

KEEF has nine (09) board members and two (02) board committees (Investment and Finance) that guide the decisions and operations of the company.

 

The company has a management team that provides leadership, oversees the day-to-day operations, co-ordinate efforts, allocate resources and ensures that the company is moving towards its objectives efficiently. The team also ensures accountability to the members/shareholders. The team composition is as follows;

  • Managing Director (M.D) – Rtn. Rachel Mindra Katoroogo, PhD
  • Company Secretary (C.S) – PAG Bernard Bamwine Muhangi
  • Company Financial Officer (C.F.O) – Rtn. Patience Kobusingye

 

KEEF Limited’s investment Philosophy is to reserve our assets; maximize ROI, diversification and minimize risk, accountability; IFRS compliance. Over the past three years, the company has continued to grow substantially, remained resilient, navigated the effects of the volatile financial markets and achieved commendable growth in terms of increased savings, return on investment and membership. With continued members’ commitment, the company is well positioned to capitalize on emerging opportunities in Uganda’s evolving financial landscape.
